Yacht Class n°40 (march-april-may 2025)

This will be the Yacht Club de Monaco’s (YCM) first participation in one of the world’s most prestigious international regattas. The event will be held in Cowes (Isle of Wight) from 17th July to 1st August, the centenary year of the Royal Ocean Racing Club. The Monegasque team will be lining up two boats for the start of the inshore and offshore events: the TP52 Jolt 3 skippered by Peter Harrison, and the Carkeek 40 Jolt 6 sailed by Pierre Casiraghi, vice-president of the Yacht Club de Monaco and founder of the Malizia team. Sailors Boris Herrman and Will Harris will be counting on the invaluable assistance of Cole Brauer, the first American woman to complete a solo round-the-world race, to take on more than 15 crews from prestigious clubs such as the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and the New York Yacht Club, three-time winners of the event. An exceptional team to take up an ambitious challenge. This initiative is part of a sporting strategy guided by the vision of the President of the YCM, H.S.H. Prince Albert II, with the aim of promoting elite sailing and inspiring future generations.
