The open hard-top still relevant

The word Mangusta evokes irreparably the open hard-top style, the trademark of this building site. The latest model, 54 meters long, the largest ever built by Overmarine, made a noteworthy passage in the Principality. She offers a rather unique profile with her superstructures that seem suspended above the hull.

Although any new model disclosed in Monaco, the Mangusta 54 M Overmarine site had to retain the DNA of the brand and genre, namely an architecture “open hard-top”. Well-known Italian designer Alberto Mancini has therefore concocted a conquering-looking unit with tight lines. In short, this 54 meter expresses in the first place a notion of power. To convince, she welcomes in its engine room two traditional diesel MTU 16V2000 M96L, specifically 2 x 2600 hp, and has a quite legitimate ambition: 30 knots at maximum speed. Equally interesting is to consider her autonomy: 4,200 miles at 12 knots, enough to sail from the Mediterranean to reach the Caribbean without any refuelling in a period of twelve days, with good conditions. An advantage if her owner wishes to place her in the charter sector. It is understood that she adapts quite to this practice, considering her arrangements, external as interior.
The idleness in the line of sight
Let's start with the 270 m2 open-air and stern that has a real beach club with swim platform and lounge, once the transom lowered. The opening of the garage is lateral so as not to disturb the tranquillity of the passengers relaxing in this beach club. Let's face the opposite, on the front deck, which also knows how to be friendly with, in particular, a large basin 70 cm deep. There is also a lounge with coffee tables and two solariums. The Mangusta does not skimp on outdoor surfaces and their comfort. Thus the sunbridge offers an ideal location at anchor, for example, where you will have the choice between: having a snack at the bar or in the sofas of the lounge. We discover a table and chairs for ten guests, as well as in the vast cockpit, a bridge below.
Interiors signed Overmarine
With regard to the interior volumes, the task was entrusted to the site's own office, which was staffed by a team of design specialists. In fact, we enter a space bathed in light thanks to the side windows going from the floor to the ceiling. Two imposing sofas and a coffee table occupy the central part, the traffic being done on the sides. A piece of furniture concealing a retractable TV screen acts as a separation from the dining space, without exceeding halfway up. The front of the main deck is reserved for the following full beam type owner with a starboard balcony, a retractable balcony. In a classic way but quite logical, the sleeping space for passengers and crew was laid out on the lower deck. For guests, there are four cabins including three doubles and one twin, each with private bathroom. The Mancini and Mangusta alliance has once again produced a unit worthy of the greatest interest, at least for sporty and slender amateur figure boaters. On board, the comfort is omnipresent and the decoration of the most neat.
