While Italian manufacturers have established undeniable dominance in the superyacht world, the market horizon is broad enough to accommodate other major players from countries that are emerging in the nautical industry. This is the case with Majesty Yachts, part of the Emirati Gulf Craft group alongside the Nomad, Oryx and SilverCat brands, which is gradually imposing a new approach to superyacht development. Gone are the days when vessels from \u201cexotic\u201d countries were viewed with a touch of patronising air. The exterior lines, concepts and layouts are now considered positively, with their share of innovations. The Majesty 100 Terrace, unveiled at the last Cannes Yachting Festival, is a striking example of this: her silhouette immediately catches the eye with her astonishing upper deck extending to the bow. Although she has a slight Explorer feel to her, this yacht retains a light design thanks to the horizontal alternation of light and dark sections.<\/p>\n\n
Boarding takes place at the stern, providing access to the large hydraulic platform that can accommodate a 3.50 m tender. The transom hides a first surprise, concealing a large sunbathing area that is easy to set up, allowing you to enjoy this space close to the water when at anchor. A flight of steps on each side provides access to the cockpit, which, with its side terraces extended, increases in width from 7.30 to 9.00 metres. Here, a long transverse bench seat, which can be converted into a large sofa for relaxation, accompanied by armchairs and coffee tables, undoubtedly creates a convivial space, sheltered from the heat of the sun but with a panoramic view. Access to the interior saloon through sliding windows reveals a gentle and peaceful atmosphere. Of course, this is in line with the owner’s choice, as Majesty is committed to meeting all his expectations by mastering all the trades involved. Natural materials in delicate shades are used, avoiding right angles, which are never welcome on a boat. Furniture, carpets, ceiling decoration, central staircase: curves and rounded shapes are favoured for a peaceful and safe experience.<\/p>\n\n
Adjacent to the saloon, the dining room is large enough to seat around ten guests. While a door on the port side opens onto the galley and the crew’s staircase, the passageway on the starboard side leads to the owner’s suite. As you enter, a long piece of furniture serving as a desk or dressing table runs along the outer hull, and opposite, a passageway leads to the dressing room and bathroom with its opening to the outside. As you approach the sleeping area, you are struck by the feeling of light and openness. While two side windows open onto the marine environment, sliding panels and a door reveal one of the highlights of the Majesty 100 Terrace \u2013 which, incidentally, gives it her name: the owner’s private terrace. It is designed to be a warm and open cocoon providing maximum privacy. A large sofa, which discreetly covers the mooring equipment, as well as armchairs and a table, are sheltered from view, while the openwork ceiling maintains a connection with the natural environment.<\/p>\n\n
To reach the upper level, passengers must use the staircase, and even this element, primarily intended for practical use, has been carefully designed. From the main deck, the ascending part of the staircase evokes a harmony of materials combining wood, metal and glass; the descending part draws its inspiration from the Middle Eastern origins of the builder, with vertical panels decorated like palm leaves and framed by refined indirect lighting. At the top of the stairs, we come to a pleasant lounge with a sofa and TV screen, which echoes the yacht’s decorative style. Further aft, the hardtop with louvres protects a long table for al fresco dining, a bar and a relaxation area. Approaching the bow, we pass the elegant and functional wheelhouse, which offers good visibility through the inverted windscreen. Arriving at the bow, we find the pleasure area with a lounge, a large Jacuzzi and deckchairs. It is easy to imagine how difficult it would be to leave this place.<\/p>\n\n
Two levels below, the hull volume of the Majesty 100 Terrace is divided into different spaces. From the bow to the stern, there is accommodation for four crew members, guest cabins with two double and two twin beds, each with its own bathroom, then the crew mess adjacent to the captain’s cabin and finally the engine room and garage for the tender. For propulsion, this yacht relies on two MAN diesel engines, each with 1,900 horsepower, to give her a top speed of 20 knots, but above all an impressive range of over 1,000 miles when cruising at 12 knots, a perfect speed for enjoying the beauty of the Mediterranean coastline or elsewhere. The quality of the Majesty 100 Terrace’s design, with, among other things, separate circulation flows for guests and crew, as well as the care taken in her construction and finishes, make this vessel a strong contender in her segment<\/p>\n\n<\/figure>\n\n
