Great comfort on all decks
YACHT CLASS N°10 (Sept-oct-nov 2017)
High on the water, this yacht belongs to the transatlantic units fleet. We have no doubt that these – so massive ! – superstructures conceal amazing volumes, and finely decorated at that. The 52Steel would not have missed the Monaco Yacht Show for the world. A must-see next September !

The M/Y Seven Sins made her debut in the yachting world last June in front of the Yacht Club de Monaco, reinforcing our idea that her "mother" shipyard could be proud. The world's leading brand for units over 24 metres (more than sixty units in the upcoming three years), Sanlorenzo was not one to rest on its laurels. Actually, since 2007, it has launched twenty boats over 40 metres. Just this year, three 460 EXP were delivered and three more are currently under construction. Everything is then for the best at Sanlorenzo that welcomed us on this five-deck whose "timeless" lines were penned by Officina Italiana Design. As we walked up the gangway, we anticipated unusual spaces. Our curiosity was quickly satisfied. Her transom raises to unveil the tender before the garage gets flooded. Just one reverse gear and the tender leaves the premises, which then becomes a seawater swimming pool surrounded by large beach club. Otherwise, just by operating the lifting floor, it can also be transformed into a vast relaxation area endowed with two lateral terraces. Futher on, the foredeck fitted with two salons also reminds us that her main asset is conviviality. The owner, a Belgium industrialist, considered that the dining rooms had to enjoy a panoramic sea view. So, there is one on the fly, one on the upper deck terrace plus, if desired, a third one on the cockpit, where is also located the entirely transparent swimming pool, overlooking the bathing platform.
On board, the watchword is idleness. As for the interior layout, it was designed to please a "modern" clientele fond of materials such as wood, leather, lacquers plus the marble quite present in the bathrooms. Again, the owner's choice. Thus, the main deck gathers two comfortable lounges while the vast forward area is dedicated to the master suite, its adjacent office, and the bathroom. The guests will be housed in the lower deck, which enjoy the same level of design and finishing. There are five cabins, mostly spacious: two VIP, a double and two twins. Regarding performances, this 52 metre fits in the semi-displacement hulls category. Powered by twin MTUV4000 M63 (2 x 1 890 hp), she reaches a 17.5 knots maximum speed at max revs of 1 800 rpm. When trimmed back to 15knots, the Sevens Sins has a 4 000 miles ranges, far more than the distance from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean. But before she decided to make this symbolic crossing, this 52 metre will be attending the Monaco Yacht Show, at the end of September.
